I'm glad to see your back to blog posting. and yet another great topic....I haven't read Lupton's article yet, but I have had the same questions about how gentrification could be a good thing. I care about Kensington and I would like to see the neighborhood improve. Obviously, we don't want a lot of the bad things to continue. But it is not "bad" to be poor, so I want the poor people to stay so I can get to know them. Thanks for pointing me to some reading material on the subject. welcome back Nicole!
