New Press is promoting a line of left-leaning books designed as a "political intervention" that sends a message about forming a Spiritual Left that's scary as all get out. The person heading up this particular line of books runs the organization out in California that put on Envision. Therein lies the problem. The emperor may be more a more benevolent dictator but it's still empire. We serve a different king and our work should strive to reflect that.
